Selected works of a series of 5 small-scale pavilions that makes climate, sensation and energy more apparent to its visitors. These pavilions are not intended to produce “optimal“ environments from the perspective of energy consumption. Instead, rather than being exercises in high-performance building, each pavilion exists in an architectural experiment, a place that uses principles of energy flow and building science to produce a specific experiential condition for the people who come to the visitor center.
